I first heard Colleen singing on the radio back in about 1971 or thereabouts.
Her rich warm voice, took me flying over the tree tops, soaring higher and higher, I was hooked.

I was fortunate enough to meet her, purely by chance, in a little cafe in Collins street in Melbourne following an afternoon matinee of "Godspell" in 1971.

I've been listening to her and following her career for the 38 years since.


Such successes as Godspell, her appearance in the musical "Pippin", Television variety series; "It's Magic" with John Farnham, numerous television variety show appearances, including dramatic roles in various television dramas, "The Boy from Oz" with Hugh Jackman, for which she won the Robert Helpman award, "Shout" the musical as well as numerous recordings. Colleen has also written a number of songs.
Of all the albums, "Bulamama" released in 2000, is my favourite.
