I have a set of beliefs and a system for a better world....some may think it rather grandiose or egotistical, it is definitely not meant to be. It is purely how I feel and what I believe would be a better way....

Omnivore versus Vegetarian

I believe that when humans first inhabited the planet we were carnivores and that was fine.

Later, as we evolved, we became omnivores, eating vegetables and animal flesh. That was fine for that stage of our evolution.

But there are great changes currently happening...we are on the verge of a new spiritual evolution of humanity...I believe that changing to a vegetarian diet will greatly enhance this evolution.

The killing of animals for food is unnecessary. Many of the methods used are barbaric,  cause untold pain and are cruel!

All animals are sentient species, that is they feel pain, are conscious beings, they have nervous systems.

 Humans can be very cruel. I believe that to evolve, we must stop all these forms of cruelty and torment of creatures. We must respect them and care for them. Not eat them!

Personally, I find it acceptable to eat dairy, because these are gifts from the animal, and the taking of these gifts cause no injury to the animal...if taken carefully and with respect!

Eggs are acceptable, but only from free range chickens...battery farming is barbaric, cruel and unnecessary.

The Teaching of our Children for a Peacful World

I believe we need to teach male children particularly, about love and compassion from a very early age.

A lot of the problems in today's society are caused by men who are egotistical, megalomaniacs...think of Hitler, and any number of world leaders...

There should no longer be any wars...I cannot see how discussion, compromise and an earnest desire to simply 'get along' cannot be a solution to all political problems....we all need simply to agree and if we wish to evolve spiritually, this is something all world leaders must embrace.

Of course, I realize it cannot happen over night...but we must begin somewhere.

Not to do so and continue in the present ways will see us stagnate and remain at the current level of evolution.

Poverty and Starvation

There should be no poverty and no starvation...there are ample resources and food...those with much can give to those who have nothing...more sharing needs to occur.

Many resources and much cash are wasted in needless endeavors such as buying of arms, space travel, exorbitant payouts for CEO's of large corporations to name a few... (let's fix our world before trying to explore others)

Religious Tolerance

This is a biggie....

To accept differences in religious beliefs. But also not to try and enforce our beliefs on others.

Simply state them and then let those who are seeking, those with eyes to see and ears to hear, take them to heart or not, as the individual sees fit.

Live and let live....respect the Divinity in all of us...respect that many paths all lead to the same destination.

Respect and acknowledge that we are really all ONE. That the Creator made us in His/Her image...

Judging Others

We humans are such judgmental creatures!

I too am guilty of this, but I make it a point to stop doing it.

Accept that we all have differences. For example; If a person decides he or she is gay...respect that.

There is nothing wrong with being gay...it is just different from the majority, that does not mean it is wrong...who are we to judge. No relationship is wrong, if it is based in love and respect.

We simply have no right to judge another without walking a mile in their shoes.

The same goes for trans gender people. No one would consciously choose this way of life...would choose to be the object of ridicule...yet when one does a bit of research and realizes that all fetuses are female for the first six weeks of life...this becomes a little easier to understand. Live and let live!

Also souls who have disabilities....we do not know what the soul's agenda is...therefore we have no right to make judgment. Simply respect the individual and be compassionate.

Creating and maintaining a Sustainable Future for Planet Earth

With global warming and the abuse of our planet's natural resources it is imperative that we endeavor to utilize more 'green' energy, recycle waste etc...

We must use less packaging of products, stop the indiscriminate use of pesticides and poisons.

Organic farming should become a priority...community vegetable gardens work here in Melbourne and other parts of the world....these should be encouraged.

We simply MUST change our habits if we are to have a sustainable future for our planet Earth and for future generations.

Remember....we cannot just jump aboard a space ship and travel to a new planet!!

We need to nurture and protect the Earth.

We need to evolve to become the enlightened, loving, compassionate, caring beings we were meant to be.

Each and every one of us needs to embrace the ideas of change necessary for this evolution to take place.

It is happening NOW....we can embrace it and work towards it OR we can stagnate and remain the semi barbaric, cruel and semi evolved species we presently are.

I know that many of you who may read this will say it is far too simplistic.

That may be true in a way, but really WAR will no longer exist if we were ALL to CHOOSE PEACE  RIGHT NOW!
